Last week was another intense week in the markets, as Bitcoin broke down further and tech stocks experienced a brutal selloff.

The dispersion between sectors was notable, as investors piled into consumer staples, energy, and industrials while software, internet, and crypto stocks tumbled.

Our short hedge in Bitcoin mentioned last week worked wonders, and we covered part of it on Thursday. That proved timely given the big bounce back on Friday.

The question now is whether this is a “dead cat” bounce or the start of a sustained rally.
